In the plants of Durum Italia it is produced a particular kind
of durum wheat semolina, better than what the market usually offers.
Besides what established by the Law n.580 of 04.07.1967 about the
chemical-physical characteristics of durum wheat semolina, the plants
of Durum Italia pays particular attention to the purchase of the
raw material and to the milling process of the semolina.
The durum wheat semolina produced by Durum Italia has a particular
bright yellow colour, has no impurities, and has regular particle
size.
All this can be obtained thanks to the plants, that put together
the high technology and the best of milling tradition: sifting surface
ratio, number of roller mills, the speed of rolls, etc.
Bio semolina and bio re-milled

The mill Capriati & Loiudice produces also biological
semolina and re-milled semolina, obtained by the mixing and the
milling of the best varieties of durum wheat, sorted by Italsemi.
By these products, certified by Bio Agri Coop, can be obtained
dry and fresh pastas, different kinds of bread and of bakery products,
all products of excellent quality.
These products exalt the organoleptic characteristics and
the taste of the durum wheat.
The total lack of chemical treatment gives to the end-commodities
particular healthy characteristics.
