During Iba 2000 of Munich Durum Italia organized a meeting about
"Technological and nutritional aspects of re-milled durum wheat
semolina for bread making".
Reporter was prof. G.B. Quaglia of the National Institut of
food and nutrition of Rome.
Dr. Giovanna Sturari, Directress of Ice - insitut for foreign
trade of Düsseldorf and the italian consul general of Munich,
Vittorio Tedeschi took part in the conference.
Coordinator was Dr. Michele Saponaro.
The meeting audience was very interested in the discussed themes,
above all in the innovative carachteristics of the fine semolina",
that thanks to its unoxiding substances plays a preventive role
for moderne diseases.
Moreover, products obtained using this particular raw material
are very rich in fibre and protein.
Prof. Quaglia spoke a lot about these aspects and about the
researches, in which Durum Italia together with very important institutes
is interested.
